Kumari is a remote region comprised of about 60,000 people. It is located about six hours drive west of Kathmandu, Nepal. With a very rough dirt road as access, it remains quite cut off from the outside world and relatively unchanged.

The Freesolo Collective film crew will travel to Nepal in partnership with the Mountain Leadership Institute's Lobuche East Friendship Expedition. The film will focus on the inspiring story of Jagat Lama who was born into poverty and went on to become the hope of a whole region. He serves as both a Himalayan trekking guide and inspiring humanitarian who has empowered the building of a woman?s skill center, school, medical clinic, water system, road and electrical system for the region of Kumari.
